UK Mainland

Our delivery time varies from 2 to 12 working days, depending upon a number of factors. Generally speaking, we are able to ensure your order is delivered within 2-3 working days but on occasion, demand is such that unfortunately, deliveries may take a little longer. The Scottish Highlands might take longer.

All orders are sent with either FedEx, Swift or APC but please note that, although they are some of the best UK couriers, delivery cannot be 100% guaranteed due to weather disruption and occasional unforeseen circumstances outside of our control.

Royal Mail Recorded Delivery
From 2 -12 working days (orders under 1kg) £4.00.

UK Standard Delivery (Mainland)
From 2 -12 working days (orders from 1 – 2kg ) £6.95.

UK Standard Delivery (Mainland)
From 2 -12 working days (orders from 2 – 5kg ) £8.50.

UK Standard Delivery (Mainland)
From 2 -12 working days (5kg and over) £12.99.

Non Mainland UK

Any orders for Non-Mainland UK delivery will be charged at cost plus an additional £3 handling fee, we will advise of additional postage charges after check-out. Please contact us if you require further information.

Please note that most of our deliveries are with Swift which is a ‘signed-for’ delivery service. Please refer to “what if I am not in when you deliver?” section.

Next Day Service

For Urgent Next Working Day Delivery  call 01608 68 38 55 (or email orders@lesliesutcliffe.com) to check availability and relevant charges.

Orders for next working day delivery must be placed by 11.00am Monday to Thursday.

Orders placed for next working day delivery after 2.00 pm on Friday will be delivered the following Tuesday. Excluding public bank holidays, which will make the package be delivered the next available business day.

* For all orders outside the UK mainland, including Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands, Ireland and ALL International, contact us to arrange a bespoke delivery package tailored to your order.

What if I’m not in when you deliver?

Deliveries will usually be made Monday to Friday between 9am and 6pm. If you or the intended recipient are not available, each time an attempt is made, our courier will leave a card at the delivery address confirming that they have tried to deliver.  If you allow a package to be left at yours or another address, it is done at the purchasers risk of loss.

If your item is in stock and you require urgent next day delivery, the goods will need to be signed for at the delivery address. It is recommended before opting for next day delivery that you ring 01608 68 38 55 to ensure your goods are in stock. Orders for next day delivery must be placed before 11am, Monday-Thursday.

Our courier will make two delivery attempts. If after the second attempt a signature cannot be obtained for the goods, a charge of £5.00 will be levied. It may then be necessary to collect the goods from our courier’s local depot.

If there is no one at the delivery address during the day, you may wish to provide an alternative delivery address, such as your place of work, where you or your representative can accept and sign for the delivery.

Parcels that are returned to LS Sales(Farnam)Ltd. where a signature could not be obtained and where the goods have not been collected from our courier’s local depot within five days will be subject to a £15.00 charge for the courier to return the goods to our warehouse. This charge will be made direct to your debit/credit card.

Returns Policy

After receiving your order you have 10 days to return any damaged, unwanted or faulty products.

– Before you return any goods, you must contact us, as goods returned without prior notification may not be refunded.

– All unwanted goods must be returned at the purchaser’s expense and in its original re-saleable condition, in original packaging, undamaged and unused. Returned items should be adequately packaged and returned at the purchaser’s risk.

– LS Sales(Farnam) Ltd. will not accept responsibility for returned products until we have signed for the goods and ensured in their original condition. We therefore recommend goods are returned by recorded delivery and fully insured.

– If a returned item is not in new condition or opened, the full purchase price will not be refunded or credited.

– Provided the goods are returned in perfect condition, we will arrange a refund by the same method as the original payment, within 30 days of the return, less the postage charges.

– You, “as a consumer” are protected under UK Law, upon making a purchase you are entering into a contract with LS Sales(Farnam) Ltd.

– In instances where a product purchased is out of stock and cannot be supplied within a reasonable period of time, we will contact you and give you the option to (a) wait or (b) receive an alternative product or (c) cancel the item from your order and receive a refund in relation to the out of stock item.

– If your product can be obtained from another source in or outside the UK, and delivered to meet the customers time requirements (going on vacation or competition, etc), all extraordinary expenses will be taken by the customer whether the delivery is achieved by the date or not (every effort will be taken to make sure the delivery is successful, but cannot be guaranteed, as not in our control).
